Privacy
Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026. This policy explains how theaimart handles personal information when you use our website, marketplace, dashboard, and related services (together, the “Service”).
01Scope and who we are
theaimart (“theaimart”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Service and is responsible for the personal information covered by this policy, except where an independent developer identifies itself as the controller of a separate service. This policy applies to information we collect directly from you, automatically when you use the Service, and from service providers that help us operate it.
It does not govern independent apps, agents, websites, or services listed in the marketplace. Their developers are responsible for their own data practices and privacy notices. Please review those notices before providing information to an independent listing.
Important
Do not include confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information in public listings, reviews, support requests, or AI prompts unless you are authorized to disclose it and the relevant service is appropriate for that information.
02Information we collect
We collect information necessary to provide, secure, improve, and administer the Service. The categories below describe the information that may be collected depending on how you use the Service.
Account and profile data
Your name, email address, username, profile details, authentication information, and the account preferences you choose to provide.
Listing and workspace data
Information you submit to publish or manage apps, web apps, agents, API keys, releases, reviews, support requests, and other marketplace activity.
Usage and technical data
Pages and features used, actions taken, browser and device details, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, referral information, and diagnostic or security logs.
Transaction and tax data
Purchase, subscription, credit, payout, billing, and tax information needed to process payments, prevent fraud, maintain records, and meet legal obligations.
Communications
Messages and information you send to us, including contact-form submissions and correspondence with support.
We may also receive information from identity providers when you sign in with a supported third-party account, from payment providers in connection with a transaction, and from referral links or similar attribution tools.
Do not provide special-category or highly sensitive information—such as health, biometric, financial-account, government-ID, or precise-location data—unless a feature specifically asks for it, you are authorized to provide it, and you understand the applicable terms. We do not require that information for ordinary marketplace use.
03How we use information
We use personal information to provide and maintain the Service; create and secure accounts; authenticate users; process purchases, subscriptions, credits, and payouts; publish and manage listings; provide analytics; respond to requests; and send service-related messages.
We also use information to troubleshoot, improve features, understand aggregate use, enforce our Terms, protect users and the Service, investigate abuse or fraud, and comply with applicable law.
Where permitted, we may send product news or marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. Opting out does not stop non-promotional messages such as receipts, security notices, or changes to the Service.
04Legal bases for processing
Where a legal basis is required, we process personal information to perform our contract with you or take steps at your request; to pursue legitimate interests such as service security, improvement, fraud prevention, and administration; to comply with legal obligations; and with your consent where required.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal, and it may limit features that need the relevant information to function.
05Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, measure use of the Service, and attribute referrals. Some cookies are essential to the Service; others support analytics or advertising.
We use a session cookie to support sign-in across theaimart services. Analytics, tag-management, and advertising technologies, including Google services, are loaded only after you select “Accept All” in the cookie prompt. Selecting “Reject Non-Essential” prevents those scripts from loading on future visits in that browser unless you later change your choice by clearing the cookie_consent setting in browser storage. Browser controls may also block cookies, but doing so can affect functionality.
06When we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including with the following recipients:
- Service providers that provide infrastructure, authentication, storage, email delivery, analytics, customer support, security, and payment processing on our behalf. These may include Firebase, Google services, Resend, Razorpay, and PayPal, depending on the feature and region.
- Developers, users, or other participants where you choose to publish content, transact, collaborate, or otherwise use a marketplace feature that makes information visible to them.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and competent authorities where necessary for legal, security, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- A successor or prospective successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We may share de-identified or aggregated information that does not reasonably identify you.
07Marketplace and AI services
theaimart provides a marketplace and related developer tools. Information you choose to make public—such as a developer profile, listing, release note, review, or other published content—may be visible to other users and indexed by search engines. Please do not publish information you want to keep private.
AI-powered or third-party services may process the inputs, files, prompts, and outputs you provide to deliver the requested feature. Processing and retention may vary by the selected service or developer. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit that content.
Your responsibility
Do not use the Service to process personal data on behalf of others unless you have a lawful basis and have completed any agreements, notices, or assessments required for your use case.
08Payments and payouts
Payments and payouts are handled by third-party payment providers, including Razorpay and PayPal where available. Those providers collect and process payment-method information under their own privacy notices. We receive transaction details needed to confirm payment, provide credits or subscriptions, prevent fraud, handle refunds, and maintain financial records.
If you request a payout or provide tax information, we process the information needed to verify, report, and remit payment where applicable. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our own systems.
09Retention and account deletion
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, meet legal, tax, accounting, and reporting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it was collected.
You may request account deletion from your account settings or by contacting us. Deleting an account does not necessarily remove content already made public or information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial-record, or backup purposes. Where possible, we will delete, de-identify, or isolate information no longer required.
10Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep account credentials and API keys confidential.
Our providers and systems may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations, subject to applicable law.
11Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to appeal a decision regarding a privacy request or complain to your local data-protection authority.
Access and correction
Request a copy of personal information we hold or ask us to correct inaccurate information.
Deletion
Request deletion of your account or personal information, subject to lawful exceptions.
Marketing choices
Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to stop future marketing communications.
Cookies
Manage non-essential cookies through available controls or your browser settings.
To exercise a right, email contact@theaimart.co. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and explain if a request cannot be fulfilled in full.
12Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at contact@theaimart.co. We will take appropriate steps to investigate and, where required, delete the information.
13Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices, the Service, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the Service after an update is subject to the updated policy.
