Reviews & Ratings
Collect, respond to and learn from reviews
Reviews are social proof and a ranking signal. How you earn and respond to them directly affects installs and discovery.
How ratings work
- •Buyers rate 1–5 stars and can leave a written review.
- •Your listing shows the average and distribution.
- •Only verified purchasers/installers can review, which keeps ratings honest.

Earn more (and better) reviews
- •Ask at the right moment — after a user hits a win, not on first launch.
- •Ship fixes fast and mention them in release notes; happy updaters re‑rate.
- •Respond to every critical review calmly and specifically — future buyers read your replies.
A thoughtful public reply to a 2‑star review often converts more undecided buyers than the review costs you. Treat criticism as free product feedback and a trust‑building stage.
What not to do
Never buy, incentivize, or fake reviews. Detection leads to review removal, ranking penalties, and possible account suspension. Authentic ratings compound; fake ones are a liability.
Turn reviews into roadmap
Cluster recurring themes from reviews and your support inbox. The most‑requested fix or feature is usually your highest‑leverage next release.
